Terms of Service
Your responsibilities, business subscriptions and rights when using Tap2Book.
Tap2Book and the appointment business
Tap2Book provides software for discovering businesses, booking appointments and managing business operations. The business named on a booking supplies the appointment service and is responsible for its staff and work. A listing, review or booking confirmation is not a certification of licensing, insurance, qualifications, safety or service quality. Confirm important requirements directly with that business. Tap2Book remains responsible for its own software, conduct and legal obligations.
Eligibility and account security
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract to create an account or make a booking yourself. An adult may arrange an appropriate service for a minor with the authority and consents the business requires. Do not create an account in a child’s name. Provide accurate information, protect your password and recovery codes, and tell support promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Business representatives must have authority to bind the business.
Business responsibilities
Businesses must provide lawful services, maintain required licenses and insurance, keep prices and availability accurate, and meet applicable safety, employment, accessibility and tax obligations. Clearly disclose service restrictions, deposits, cancellation deadlines and any no-show fees before a customer confirms. Do not impose a new fee or stricter cancellation rule on an existing booking without a lawful basis and any required customer agreement. The business is responsible for handling its service complaints, staff actions and refunds.
Customer information and messages
Businesses may use customer details obtained through Tap2Book to provide the requested service and manage the booking. Access to a phone number or email address is not permission to send marketing. Obtain any separate consent required for advertising, protect customer records, restrict staff access appropriately, and honor privacy and opt-out requests. Do not sell booking contact details, use them for unrelated solicitation, or upload another person’s data without authority. Notify support promptly if Tap2Book customer information is exposed or misused.
Bookings and service disputes
Review the business, service, appointment time, total price, deposit and cancellation policy before confirming. Keep your confirmation and verify important arrangements directly with the business. A reminder is a convenience, not a condition of your appointment obligations. Contact the business first about its service or an appointment refund; contact support@tap2book.net about software, account or payment-record problems. This process does not prevent a lawful complaint, payment dispute or claim.
Business subscriptions and renewal
Creating an account or selecting a demo plan does not authorize a real subscription charge. Live enrollment requires a separate confirmation and checkout stating the price, billing interval, applicable tax and any promotion. Core is $30 USD per month for one calendar when offered for live enrollment. After any disclosed free period, subscriptions renew monthly and the authorized payment method is charged until renewal is canceled. Additional services or fees require their own disclosure and authorization. Demo availability does not mean every plan or payment feature is live.
First 25 businesses offer
The first 25 eligible new live business subscriptions receive three calendar months free, followed by three monthly subscription payments at 50% off the agreed regular subscription price, then full monthly pricing from month 7. For Core, that is $0 for months 1–3, $15 per month for months 4–6, then $30 per month, plus applicable tax. Optional extras and setup services are separate and are not made free by this offer. The free period begins after successful payment-method setup, not at account creation. Calendar months may have different numbers of days; your billing area shows the applicable dates.
Offer eligibility and availability
The offer is limited to one allocation per eligible business and is subject to remaining places when live checkout starts. Demo and sandbox businesses do not consume places, and creating a demo account does not reserve one. A place allocated at live checkout remains assigned to that business for retry and is not recycled after cancellation. A canceled promotional subscription cannot restart its offer. If no place remains, review and expressly accept regular pricing before enrollment; the offer must not silently become a full-price subscription.
Canceling a subscription
Open your business billing area and use Cancel renewal for a founding subscription, or Manage billing for a standard subscription. Cancel before the next charge is due; during the free period, cancel before its end to avoid the first paid month. Cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the current free or paid period. Check the confirmation and displayed end date. If cancellation is unavailable, email support@tap2book.net with your business name and request. Logging out, removing a listing or not using the service does not itself cancel billing. Subscription cancellation does not cancel customer appointments or automatically issue refunds.
Billing problems, refunds and price changes
For an incorrect or duplicate Tap2Book charge, or a subscription refund request, contact support with the business name, charge date and amount; do not send full card details. Refund requests are reviewed under the circumstances and applicable law; unused time does not automatically generate a refund. Your statutory refund and payment-dispute rights are preserved. A failed renewal can pause new bookings as described in your billing area. Any future price change will be disclosed before it applies with any legally required notice and an opportunity to cancel; it will not retroactively change a completed charge or an already agreed promotional period.
Payments and third-party services
Stripe processes online payments through its payment interfaces. Tap2Book subscriptions and appointment payments to a business are separate transactions. Businesses using connected payment services must complete required onboarding, comply with the payment provider’s applicable agreements and maintain accurate payout information. Processor fees, holds, disputes and payout timing depend on the applicable provider terms; Tap2Book does not guarantee an instant payout. Payment methods vary by enabled checkout. Never provide real payment details in a sandbox: simulated transactions do not move real money or purchase a real appointment.
Content, branding and reviews
You retain rights you hold in uploaded content. You give Tap2Book a nonexclusive permission to host, copy, format and display that content only as needed to operate the service and the listing you request. You must have permission to use images, logos and personal information you upload. This does not transfer ownership of a review. Honest criticism is allowed. Do not post fake reviews, threats, unlawful material or other people’s private information. Report suspected infringement or abuse to support with the affected page and enough information to investigate; content may be restricted while a report is reviewed.
Acceptable use and restrictions
Do not submit fraudulent bookings, impersonate others, harass users, send spam, distribute malware, bypass access controls, collect private data without authorization or interfere with the service. We may restrict content or access reasonably needed to address abuse, nonpayment, a material breach, security concerns or legal requirements. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the restriction and how to contact support to challenge it. Urgent protective action may occur first. Restrictions do not erase a lawful refund obligation or authorize undisclosed charges.
Reminders and communications
Optional appointment reminders and marketing choices are separate from accepting these terms. Only provide a number or address you are authorized to use. Text frequency varies with bookings; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of reminder texts or HELP for help, or contact support. Opting out does not cancel an appointment. Account security messages and requested transaction messages are handled separately, subject to applicable consent and opt-out rules. Delivery may be delayed or fail; keep your own appointment records.
Availability and limits of the service
Tap2Book is not an emergency service, insurer or professional adviser. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, guaranteed bookings, income or business results. Maintain copies of important records and reasonable alternatives during an outage. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes consumer rights, required refunds or Tap2Book’s own legal duties.
Disputes, changes and contact
Contact support@tap2book.net so we can try to resolve a concern. Contacting support is not a required waiver of your right to approach a regulator, your payment provider or a court, and does not shorten a legal deadline. These terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights. Material updates will be communicated through the service or account contact details before they apply where required, and fresh agreement will be requested when legally necessary. An update does not retroactively remove rights relating to an earlier dispute. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply only to the extent lawful. The date above identifies this version.
